Just stepped out with my freshly styled hair and let me tell you, it’s downright flawless! I’m completely smitten with my braids. The folks there? Pure charm and delight. They were gentle with my hair, no pulling or yanking, and the braids? Not a hint of being too tight. You could hear the stylists chit-chatting and chuckling – I didn’t get a word they said, but the cheerful vibe? Totally infectious. I kicked back with a couple of flicks and before you know it, they were done – no dilly-dallying. Trust and believe, I’ll be making my way back there, and I won’t hesitate to put their name out there, either.
This place had such a warm, family-like feel to it. I walked in wanting goddess box braids and they were so patient, taking the time to answer all my queries. I was there today for a touch up and they did an amazing job.
My braids look very great. Everyone was so nice. This is my new braid salon.
It was a walk-in and not an appointment that was scheduled. I had to wait about two hours before sitting in the seat to get my hair done. I did not like how there were conversations going on that did not involve trying to get to know me. I feel like if you see that you have a new client you would want to know more about that person, and also there was a misunderstanding about the price. One last thing is that I was just a little confused on who was going to do my hair because there was one person who started on it but then that person went to help the owner do someone else hair and didn’t let me know. I was just pretty much sitting there waiting there. I feel that you have to communicate with the client to let them know. “I’m going go help her.”Do you mind waiting? You know in that aspect. Other than the style was spot-on and how they matched the picture was immaculate. I was impressed. Lastly, if you don’t have healthy thick hair that is being cared for; for instance if you have very short or hair is missing in some spots you might not want to come. The braiding is very close to scalp. I actually enjoy very close braiding. It helps with hair growth. The place is clean and love the decor.
I have had braids done at many places before, but the level of skill at WOW African Hair Braiding Salon was second to none. They was so meticulous, my knotless braids was done flawlessly!
