This place rocks!!! And the people? They’re totally awesome!!! Being a Michigan gal, I was stoked to get my hair braided by the owner herself right here. She’s such a sweetheart, truly. I’m telling you, everyone should swing by this spot at least once. I know for sure that every time I’m hitting H-Town, I’m coming back here! What a stellar discovery!!!

I was in from out of town and truly couldn’t have stumbled across such a perfect salon and service for me. I booked an appt. online which is a plus for me. My stylist listened to me before getting started and confirmed what I was looking for. She delivered on a 10/10 scale. I’m extremely happy with the results and would happily return when in town. I wish she were located in Seattle.
I was really crunched for time and stumbled upon this salon in my quest. I have to say, I’m seriously impressed. The staff was spot on, working in sync and at a fast pace. I actually prefer this place over my usual salon – they’re just that good. I’m a white girl and notoriously hard to satisfy, but they went above and beyond. Super thrilled and I’ll definitely return.
Best Service to get your hair braided
Two months back, I walked into this spot for some box braids, and here I am just now taking them down! Incredible how they stood the test of time! Now, I’ve got a pretty big afro and a ton of hair, so I’m used to being turned away because it’s just too much for some folks to handle. But man, much respect to WOW African Hair Braiding for stepping up to the plate! They had me looking sharp with those braids, no doubt I’m heading back there!
Remi knocked it out of the park! From the get-go, I felt right at home, and her top-notch service was nothing short of spectacular. As a first-timer diving into the world of braids, her speed and expertise blew me away. I couldn’t be more thrilled with my hair, and you can bet I’ll be back for more.
